The method of judging the height of single cell electrolyte of forklift battery

Forklift battery belongs to lead-acid open-ended battery. This kind of power battery needs water. Distilled water is similar to "blood" and needs to be continuously injected into forklift battery to generate energy. The electrolyte level of each battery should be 10 mm ~ 15 mm higher than the plate. Keeping the liquid level of electrolyte in each battery is the most basic requirement to prolong the service life of battery.
The method to check the electrolyte level of forklift battery is as follows:
Screw off the liquid filling cap, insert the glass tube with an inner diameter of about 7mm into the liquid filling port vertically until it contacts with the upper edge of the electrode plate, press the upper port of the glass tube, clamp the glass tube with the index finger and ring finger, and lift it up slowly. The electrolyte level in the glass tube is the height of the electrolyte plane in the battery higher than the electrode plate, which should be 10mm ~ 15mm.
After checking, put the electrolyte into the primary battery. If it is found that the electrolyte level of the battery is too low after the inspection, it is necessary to supplement distilled water or the battery supplement liquid sold on the market in time.
Here we need to pay attention: it is not allowed to add water that does not meet the requirements, such as tap water, river water, well water, etc., mixed with impurities, which will cause failure. Do not add standard electrolyte, which will increase the concentration of electrolyte and shorten the service life of battery.
